I watched the "movie" that sparked the attacks in Lybia and Egypt. It was not only low-budget but the acting, editing and writing was ridiculous. The entire purpose was to humiliate and belittle Muslims and their faith. They obviously knew that the video would cause some to retaliate. This was no concern to them as they feel safe in backwoods, USA. The people that made the video use freedom of speech as a shield and excuse to be assholes. With full knowledge of possible consequences, they spent time & money to make this garbage. Whatever your religious beliefs are, they give you NO RIGHT to mock and insult others. The truth is none of us truly know anything beyond our own reality. Unfortunately people use "faith" as an excuse to do evil in God's name. No one wants their personal faith insulted. Isn't the purpose of any religion to inspire love, not hate? People feel they can justify ANYTHING if they think they are doing it in God's name. They can twist horrible deeds into noble acts in their own mind. There are no limits to the extremes people will go if they believe it's for the greater good. News flash; Islamic extremists truly think they are doing a loving God's will. The terrorists that commit genocide think no differently than a Christian defending Christ by any means necessary. Why must there be so much evil from those who believe they are doing good. It goes both ways so we need to think twice before we point a finger and act harshly against many over the beliefs of a few. Anyone that truly feels close to God should understand that. I am picking no favorites, choosing no sides. Every action has a reaction. If you carelessly kill innocent people to fulfill a personal ideology then I see no way your God could want that. The people that were involved with this "movie" may not have pulled a trigger, but they have blood on their hands as far as I'm concerned.
